Internship for Animal Husbandry/ Animal Science

Responsibilities:

• Key Responsibilities:
• 1.Duck Care & Management:
• Assist in the daily care of ducks, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring their health and behavior.
• Learn and apply techniques for maintaining optimal living conditions to ensure the well-being of the ducks.
• 2.Breeding & Reproduction:
• Participate in the duck breeding program, including artificial insemination, monitoring reproductive cycles, and managing breeding records.
• Support the team in ensuring high reproductive success rates through effective management and care.
• 3.Health Monitoring:
• Conduct regular health checks on ducks, observing for signs of illness or distress.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to address any health concerns and implement preventive care practices.
• 4.Data Recording & Analysis:
• Maintain accurate records of breeding activities, health reports, and farm operations.
• Assist in analyzing data to improve farm management practices and duck productivity.
• 5.Sustainable Farming Practices:
• Learn and contribute to sustainable farming practices that promote animal welfare and environmental responsibility.
• Participate in initiatives to improve farm sustainability, such as waste management and resource efficiency.
• 6.Research & Development:
• Support ongoing research projects related to duck behavior, nutrition, and reproduction.
• Assist in implementing new techniques and technologies to enhance farm operations.
• 7.Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with farm managers, animal scientists, and other team members to ensure smooth farm operations.
